TRAINING COURSES
In view of the Opening of the XXXVI National Congress, FMSI organized three training courses which will be held on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th March 2019 at the University of Rome “Foro Italico”.
These courses will examine in depth those methods and techniques which are becoming more and more important in Sports Medicine: infiltrative therapy, therapeutic bandage and functional assessment.
– Infiltrative therapy using a scanner
Theoretical and practical training course about this new technique which is becoming more and more important in Sports Medicine for treatment of rheumatic and post-traumatic pathologies. This training course aims to improve the know-how about the correct implementation of the infiltrative therapy.
During the training course, each participant will perform this technique in special rooms provided with examination tables and scanners.
At the end of the course a certificate of attendance will be granted.
The training course is for a limited number of participants (max 32 people), only FMSI members.
Duration of the course: 12 hours, 10 of them of practice
– Rehabilitation: bandage and technological innovations
Therapeutic bandage is very important for treatment of pathologies affecting ligaments, tendons and muscles and for reduction of recovery time. That is the reason why this two-days training course is completely dedicated to the improvement of all the competences needed for a proper execution of techniques of immobilization and bandage of upper and lower limbs.
During the training course, each participant will perform simulations of this technique in special rooms provided with examination tables and specific devices.
Two sessions about technological innovations about sports injuries treatments are included in the programme.
At the end of the course a certificate of attendance will be granted.
The training course is for a limited number of participants (max 32 people), only FMSI members.
Duration of the course: 14 hours, 10 of them of practice
– The athlete’s functional evaluation: direct and indirect tests
The aim of the course is the improvement of all the competences needed for the evaluation of the functional aspects – as important as clinical aspects – of people who play or want to play physical activity, in order to be able to choose, on individual bases, the most appropriate type and intensity of physical activity.
The training course will include practical sessions during which each participant will perform direct and indirect tests for functional evaluation using special rooms and specific devices.
At the end of the course a certificate of attendance will be granted.
The training course is for a limited number of participants (max 32 people), only FMSI members.
Duration of the course: 12ì hours, 9 of them of practice
